PRR Program Highlights: We READ, We LEAD, We SERVE!
PRR students recently studied about protecting Missouri wildlife.
Project Read and Reach (PRR) is in its fourth year of operation at Lincoln and Blackhurst Elementary Schools.
We are proud that both Lincoln and Blackhurst PRR programs have achieved Child Care Licensing from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. This means that our before and after school program has been audited and certified to the rigorous standards as set forth by the State of Missouri, Child Care Center Licensing. Project Read and Reach strives to maintain high-quality, academic programming in the out-of-school hours. As of a result of this certification, parents are also assured that their child is attending a program that meets all state licensing regulations for child care centers and is held to the highest standards of operation. PRR is truly a safe, fun, experiential learning environment where a child will learn and grow and reach their fullest potential!
Project Read and Reach is the result of a School Age Community (SAC) Afterschool Program grant for before and after school academic programming awarded to the St. Charles School District. This three-year grant is awarded through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Early and Extended Learning. Project Read and Reach is under the direction of the St. Charles School District 's Adult and Community Education program.
